The trophy of this year’s race celebrates Brazilian identity
The new trophy of the Formula 1 MSC Cruises São Paulo Grand Prix 2025 is a true ode to Brazilian identity. The trophy was conceived by Furf Design Studio, by designers Mauricio Noronha and Rodrigo Brenner, and translates the encounter between technology, art, and emotion, with shapes that evoke the plurality of Brazil and the national passion for motorsport.
Unlike previous years, 2025 marks a very important novelty. This is the first time that the São Paulo GP of F1 is responsible for the creation and conception of the trophies destined for those who secure a place on the podium. “We had the mission of materializing the Brazilian identity in the four most desired and dreamed-of objects by drivers and their teams. Even more so at this final stretch of the season, where everything is still open, it feels even more special to finally reveal this project that has been in the works since April this year. Every single detail was designed to reflect and communicate the vast and plural culture of Brazil, which will be shown to the whole world while crowning champions,” said Alan Adler, CEO of the São Paulo GP.
The trophy is a metaphor for Brazilian plurality. Feathers, leaves, scales, petals, buildings — all together and mixed, just like São Paulo is! It has movement, it has swing. There are ten rows of laurels composed of twelve leaves each: the ten teams racing against time. And its shape, inspired by Senna’s S curve, resembles an hourglass, an analogy to the driver’s conquest as if they had mastered time.
