São Paulo, October 2025 — The new trophy for the Formula 1 MSC Cruises São Paulo Grand Prix 2025 is a true ode to Brazilian identity. The trophy was conceived by Furf Design Studio, led by designers Mauricio Noronha and Rodrigo Brenner, and represents the encounter between technology, art, and emotion, with shapes that evoke the plurality of Brazil and the national passion for motorsport.

Unlike previous years, 2025 marks an important milestone. This is the first time that the São Paulo GP of F1 has been responsible for creating and designing the trophies awarded to those who reach the podium.

“We had the mission to materialize the Brazilian identity in the four most desired and dreamed-of objects by drivers and their teams. Especially at this decisive point in the season, where everything is still up for grabs, it feels even more special to finally reveal this project, which has been in development since April this year. Every little detail was thought out to reflect and communicate the vast and plural culture of Brazil that will be showcased to the whole world while crowning champions,” said Alan Adler, CEO of the São Paulo GP.

Produced using zero-waste 3D printing and cast aluminum with metallic and varnished finishing, the trophy is made up of ten layers of leaves, representing the ten F1 teams competing. However, when viewed from above, there are 12 leaves, symbolizing the clock and the drivers’ race against time on the track. The moving texture blends references such as Tupinambá cloaks, laurel wreaths, scales, petals, and the São Paulo skyline, creating a mosaic that reflects the country’s diversity and energy.

“The trophy is a metaphor for Brazilian plurality. Feathers, leaves, scales, petals, buildings—all together and mixed, just like São Paulo! It has movement, it has swing. There are ten rows of laurels made up of twelve leaves each: the ten teams racing against the clock. And its shape, inspired by Senna’s S curve, resembles an hourglass, an analogy to the driver’s achievement as if they had mastered time,” explains Rodrigo Brenner, co-founder of Furf Design Studio.

“We wanted to create a deeply Brazilian icon, with reverence for the past and an eye on the future. The Brazilian people have a unique emotional connection with motorsport. It’s part of our history, our identity. Brazilians don’t just watch, they cheer, remember, dream, feel. Creating the São Paulo GP trophy means touching that collective emotion and giving it a body, a symbol,” adds Mauricio Noronha, co-founder of Furf Design Studio.

The final finishing of the piece was done by Alan Mosca, partner at Sid Special Paint and son of the legendary Sid Mosca, a reference in motorsport. “It was an honor to be invited to take part in such an important and meaningful aspect of a world-class event like the São Paulo Grand Prix. It represents a remarkable moment in my career. I’ve been in the motorsport universe for 50 years, and now I have the opportunity to complete the art of trophies that are part of the 2025 season’s history. For Sid, it’s a great recognition and a demonstration of confidence in our name, the result of a lot of work and expertise,” says Mosca.

The Formula 1 MSC Cruises São Paulo Grand Prix 2025 takes place on November 7, 8, and 9 at the Interlagos Circuit. All tickets for the race are sold out. Tickets are still available for the Fanzone, at the Interlagos kart track, which includes live race screening on a high-definition big screen.
