McLaren Takes the Lead. The Championship Heats Up.

Oscar Piastri’s victory as ‘Driver of the Day’ at the Azerbaijan GP, along with Lando Norris’s fourth place finish, has put McLaren at the top of the Constructors’ Championship. Charles Leclerc finished second, and George Russell completed the podium. The race was highly competitive, featuring a bizarre crash between Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz Jr. just two laps from the end. The checkered flag was waved during the virtual safety car period. Next Sunday, Formula 1 races through the streets of Singapore, starting at 9 AM (Brasilia time).
